Each step of the process involves ongoing discussions of progress and design, creating fluidity throughout the project.

We strongly believe that investing the due diligence to understand the design intent and goals, along with proper planning, clear communication and accountability are keys to a successful project that is on-budget and on-schedule.

Our construction management process:

Exploratory Meetings: During these face-to-face meetings, we’ll discuss your overall vision, expectations, budget and timeline.

Based on the information gathered from our initial meetings, we’ll comprise a team of design and planning professionals that best meet the needs of the project.

Design Charrette: This meeting includes you and your Kinghorn team of architects and professionals. We’ll discuss exact functionality and design requirements, prioritization and other details necessary to create an extensive understanding of the project.

Following the design charrette, we will begin creating preliminary estimates and timelines, while simultaneously taking care of any permitting requirements.

Construction: Our number one priority throughout the construction process is communication. Your dedicated project manager will keep you up-to-date, with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly meetings depending on the level of feedback and updates required. At this time, any changes and design elements will be worked through.

Close-out: Once construction has concluded, we will give you a tour of your new facility, reviewing mechanical and electrical systems and answering any final questions you may have. At this point, the project is finished; however, we continuously work with our clients post-construction, as our commitment to our customers goes beyond close-out. Kinghorn is able to provide post-construction support and management for our clients to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
